Are You a Candidate for Breast Enhancement?

on Friday, December 21, 2012

Many women want breast enhancement, but they do not know whether or not they are good candidates for the procedure. They may worry that they cannot have it for one reason or another. In some cases, people find that they are unsure if they want to go through with this procedure or not. One step to take before making your decision is to meet with your cosmetic surgeon to discuss your concerns and needs. In doing so, you will be able to get the help you need to determine if this is the type of procedure that can enhance your life and give you the body you want to have.

Do You Hate Them Now?

One of the things to consider when determining if you should move forward with breast enhancement is the way you feel about your breasts right now. Do you feel as though they are too small? Do you worry that they do not look normal compared to what other women have? If you feel they are too small, then you may be a good candidate for this procedure.

Are You Self-Conscious?

Some women are very self-conscious about the way they look. If you do not like wearing form fitting tops or slipping on a bathing suit, then this could be a good indication that you will benefit from this procedure. You may also feel self-conscious in situations where one of your breasts is larger than the other. If this is the case, this procedure can fix that.

Have You Gone Through Childbirth?

Though initially after giving birth a woman's breasts can be larger, most women see significant shrinkage afterwards. You may feel that your breasts are no longer as firm as they used to be or may even have lost significant volume after this time.

Have to Lose Weight?

Women who lose a significant amount of weight are also likely to see differences in the way their breasts look. It is very common for weight loss to happen equally over the body. This means that this area is just as likely to reduce the number of fat cells present as other areas. It is a good idea to have this procedure once you have lost all the weight you plan to and are now at a stable weight.

If you think you fit into any of these situations, talk to your doctor about breast enhancement. You'll feel good about gathering information that can help you to make the right decision for your future. This is a very personal decision to make, but for many women, it is an exciting opportunity to change the way they look for good.

Can a Facelift Boost Your Confidence?

A facelift is a specific type of cosmetic surgery meant to improve the way the skin of the face looks. Many women and men battle with wrinkles and skin folds as they get older. No matter how healthy they are or how much energy they have, they may feel older than they are just because of the way they look. However, this type of procedure, which is significantly less invasive than it used to be, can be just what you need to take back the way your skin looks and help you to look nearly as young as you feel.

The Problem in the Mirror

One of the main concerns of those who are dealing with this problem is that it can be difficult for you to feel good about yourself when you hate the image in the mirror. The problem is that aging does a great deal to change the structural components of the face. In some cases, it causes sagging skin in the midsection. In other cases, it creates a number of wrinkles and creases in the skin near the mouth, nose, and eyes. It can even cause people of a healthy weight to appear to have a double chin due to sagging jowls. You do not have to suffer like this and hate the way you look.

How This Treatment Helps

If you want to change the way you feel about yourself and get that boost of confidence, consider the benefits of a facelift. This type of procedure will enhance the way your skin looks. It can get rid of extra skin that is causing the sagging. It can also tighten up wrinkles from one side to the other. It can help to keep your natural beauty and transform your skin to what it used to be when you were significantly younger.

You'll Love the Way You Look

Once you get a facelift, you will look younger. You still have the same overall features you had previously. People will recognize you. They will not see the wrinkles you had or the areas of drooping in the center of your face, though. With this procedure, you can feel confident about the way you look when you step out into public. You may even enjoy using makeup or heading out with friends who you have not seen in years. You might even look better than they do.

Talk to your surgeon about the way a facelift could change your face and boost your confidence. It is not as invasive as you think, and the results will last for years. Find out if this is the right treatment for you so you can be happy with the way you look all over again.

Creative Ways Plastic Surgeons Can Decorate Their Office

If you visit the offices of many plastic surgeons, you will most likely see a space that is either boring and mundane or nice, but unoriginal. Spaces that are seen as an exception are usually those occupied by professionals who put some extra effort and interest into decorating the area. Some of them don't realize that there are several ways they can make their space look much better.

One of the first things plastic surgeons can do to improve the look of their office is choose a non-traditional look for their desk. Instead of picking a brown, wooden desk like most others, they go for something with a little more color. On the other hand, they can still choose the traditional wooden desk, but they can have it painted a different color. If they are able, they could even paint it themselves. Along with choosing a creative desk, they should also make sure they have a chair that not only matches the desk, but is comfortable and unique.

Plastic surgeons should also pay more attention to the wall art they display. Most physicians cover their walls with their plaques, framed certificates and other educational achievements and there's absolutely nothing wrong with doing so. However, adding some actual paintings, photographs or even wall art won't hurt. This can include famous, well-known paintings or work done by unknown amateurs. The photographs could be blown up pictures that were taken by professionals or family pictures taken during Christmas. It all depends on what makes the professionals feel comfortable and satisfied.

Lastly, plastic surgeons can spice up their office area by adding or incorporating some unique accessories. They can include things like waterfalls, for instance. Of course, the object doesn't have to be large and overpowering. There are several stores and companies that sell small-scale waterfalls that can even be mounted on the wall. Not only would this be aesthetically appealing, it would also create a more calming atmosphere. Another unique accessory that they should consider is the rugs. Many don't realize how much the appearance of a rug can improve or worsen the look of a space.

Even though being creative is important, plastic surgeons should also remember to keep their patients and other visitors in mind. Although it is their office, they won't be the only ones occupying the space every second of the day. So, it's important that they don't add or incorporate any features that might throw off or even offend customers. In other words, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to include paintings of naked people.

Achieving the Best Results After Liposuction

on Thursday, December 20, 2012

Exercise and healthy eating are important, but sometimes they are not enough to get the results you desire for your body. For those people whose bodies are stubborn and do not respond to conventional methods for shaping and toning up, there is liposuction.

To achieve the best results possible following a liposuction operation, you need to start eating right. Even if you did not eat well before the surgery, make the necessary changes afterwards. Skipping meals is not a good idea, nor is going to extremes when it comes to dieting.

Most cosmetic surgeons recommend to their patients that they follow a stricter diet before the operation date comes around. Following the operation, proper maintenance is required. This means consuming more vegetables and fruits. It also means eater leaner types of meat to get the right percentage of protein and carbohydrates. You should avoid sweets as much as you can after you have had liposuction.

Your recuperation may involve some discomfort, but it will not be too long before you begin to see the results of it. The most fitting means of maintaining your new figure is to work up a sweat through exercise. Before you start exercising again, though, see your doctor. You need to make sure that all of your wounds have healed properly. Do not start doing any rigorous physical activity until your physician gives you the go-ahead to do so!

Brisk routines should not be engaged in when you first begin to exercise again. Yoga is a good place to start as is gentle stretching exercises. Some cosmetic surgeons recommend that their patients already be physically active before the lipo procedure takes place. This makes the recovery easier and often times, more rapid.

One of the most common blunders that results from liposuction can sometimes lead to a problem known as fat embolism. This can occur when the cosmetic surgeon uses large liposuction rods, as opposed to smaller ones. The fat from the patient is able to escape from the rods and head in the direction of the heart. Small rods are generally better and allow for a faster healing process. Discuss this with your physician in advance of the operation date.

If the thought of the painful aftermath of your cosmetic work has you cringing inwardly, there is a way that it can be reduced by the doctor. Ask your surgeon if he can give you some extra adrenaline or epinephrine. These substances have the ability to constrict the blood vessels. By doing so, the bruising and swelling after the operation will be reduced. The skin will be smoother and the scarring will be less obvious.

Getting rid of unwanted fat from your body is the surgeon's goal when he performs liposuction on you. But it does not end there. Post-operative appointments are necessary as follow-ups. The physician needs to assure you that the job was done right and that you are healing as you should be.

If you have lost a lot of weight or you want to fix this problem, you may benefit from this procedure. During it, the doctor will reattach the muscles and make them stronger. Otherwise, they will remain weakened no matter how much you work to build them up through exercise.

Do You Have a Concentration of Fatty Tissue?

Another reason to have this procedure is fatty tissue. Though you should be of a stable weight and you should not be trying to use this procedure as a way to lose weight, you can get rid of some excess tissue in this midsection. The doctor will remove this tissue during the procedure.

A tummy tuck can do a lot for the improvement of the way your midsection looks. It is up to you to select the right doctor and plan for your body. Talk to your doctor about how you will look after this procedure. You should have a realistic idea of what you will look like afterwards.

Top Four Plastic Surgery Myths Busted!

Plastic surgery is often thought of as glamorous and out of the range for the average person. The fact is that it is similar in nature to other types of medical specialties.

There are many myths that surround plastic surgery. Let us bust the top four myths out of the water! Read on.

Myth One: Plastic surgery is all about appearances

Breast augmentations, tummy tucks, facelifts and Botox are the procedures that get the most media attention. They are the ones that get talked about the most because they are all about beauty and vanity. However, this field is much larger than most people realize. Plastic doctors can perform everything from scar revisions for burn victims to reconstructive hand or foot surgery. They can do reconstructive work for breast cancer survivors and they can help with birth defects such as cleft palates.

Surgeons who work with plastics care about aesthetics but they care about so much more as well. They care about functionality and the overall results that are achieved through a surgical procedure.

Myth Two: Plastic procedures are only performed on celebrities

The rich and famous in the world only make up around one to two percent of the entire population. It stands to reason then that if plastic doctors only worked on those with wealth, power and status, they wouldn't be working very often and the business would be far from thriving! But it is thriving because plenty of average people, just like you, seek out their services. Average individuals with regular lives wish to enhance their looks, improve their level of confidence and indeed, give their lives a boost.

Myth Three: Females are the only gender that has work done

If you look at things from a traditional perspective, women are the most common customers of this medical specialty. But if you take a modern approach, men are turning to it in increasing numbers all of the time. They are starting to jump on the plastic bandwagon because they see the positive results that it provides for women.

Men want a younger, rejuvenated appearance. The most popular choices for males include liposuction, laser treatments, Botox and dermal fillers. They yearn for the competitive edge in the job market and they wish to be more physically appealing to the women in their lives.

Myth Four: Plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery are the same

This is probably one of the greatest misnomers about this branch of medicine. All plastic physicians do not have the exact same training. There are plenty of doctors who were originally trained in and certified in other fields and then decided to venture into this area. They are board certified- but not in the field of plastics.

The American Board of Medical Specialties does not recognize physicians who report that they are board certified in cosmetic surgery. To be board certified in plastic surgery, a doctor has to have undergone a number of years of specialized training connected to both plastic and cosmetic work.

Risks of Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery has much to offer those who choose to have it. Whether you need the procedure for medical reasons like a deviated septum, you want it to look better by having a tummy tuck, you need to realize that there are health risks involved. That is the case with any type of operation you have.

Any time that you have a procedure, there is a risk of infection. The most common area for infection to occur in is in or around the site of the incision. However, it is also possible for other kinds of infections to develop. Examples of these could be bladder or sinus infections.

The reason that an infection could occur at this time is because the immune system may be more vulnerable following an operation. Your body is doing its best to heal itself, and the immune system may be compromised because this is happening.

The signs that an infection has developed include redness, swelling, abnormal draining, or any warmth found around the incision. If you notice any of these symptoms, contact the operating physician right away.

When cosmetic surgery takes place, nerves are manipulated to get a desired result. Even when a surgeon is very precise and extremely careful, there is still the risk that nerves can be damaged in the process.

The nerves in the human body are sensitive, and damage to your nerves may contribute to future health complications for the patient. A small amount of damage to the nerves can result in tingling sensations in the area that has been affected. Severe damage to nerves can cause the body part to not function inadequately. When damage does occur during a plastic surgery operation, it is generally only minor and has only a temporary impact on the patient.

Any type of surgery involves a loss of blood. With the loss of blood, there is the potential for blood clots and hemorrhaging. A patient may also develop a hematoma. This means that blood has pooled under the incision. This necessitates a second surgery be performed.

Excessive bleeding is also a concern after some cosmetic surgery operations. If a patient is bleeding excessively, a transfusion may need to take place. This happens in very rare cases.

Blood clots in the legs sometimes form following a surgical procedure. While these happen quite often, they are only life threatening if the clot makes its way to the lungs. This is referred to as a pulmonary embolism. Wearing compression stockings can help to prevent this from happening. Your doctor may strongly recommend this preventative treatment for you.

How Is a Breast Enlargement Surgery Performed?

The operation is carried out under General Anaesthetic and usually takes one and a half hours to perform.

The incision (cut) on the breast is usually placed in the fold underneath your breast but may occasionally be placed around the nipple. A pocket is made for the implant either underneath the breast tissue or partly underneath the chest wall muscle.

When the implants are in the best position, the wound is closed with dissolvable stitches and dressings will be placed over the wounds. Sometimes a drain is placed into the breast at the end of the operation.

The preferred method uses a scar placed in the fold underneath your breast. This allows good access to the plane behind the breast, allowing a pocket to be created for the implant under good vision. The scar is usually about 5cm long and is designed to be a short and inconspicuous as possible. Occasionally, your breast anatomy may make it more appropriate to have the scar placed around your nipple.

The majority of implants are placed under the breast and on top of the pectoral muscle. If there is very little tissue thickness at the top of the breasts, it may be more appropriate to place them under the pectoral muscle. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages.

Implants come in a large range of sizes. All implants have an outer shell made of silicone. The majority of implants used in the UK are filled with silicone. Implants are available that are filled with saline. These are more commonly used in the USA. They tend to feel less natural than silicone implants and have a greater tendency to rupture and deflate.

Whilst it is possible that your implants may last for a lifetime, they may need replacing. Implants no longer have a set lifetime and do not need to be routinely exchanged if you have not developed a complication from them. You should however only undergo this operation if you are prepared to undergo further breast surgeries should a complication develop.

All breast operations carry some element of risk. Common side effects can include nausea and vomiting following general anaesthesia. As mentioned earlier, your breasts will be uncomfortable, and may be swollen and bruised following your operation.

Specific complications

Haematoma - This is bleeding around the breast implant following your operation. It can occasionally lead to patients having to return to theatre to stop the bleeding and remove the blood clot.

Wound infection - Infection following breast implant surgery is rare, but it is a distressing complication. Infection can occur following any type of surgery but is a particular risk when putting a foreign material into the body. If this occurs, it is unlikely to respond to antibiotics and may necessitate removal of the implants and then waiting for at least three months for this to settle before considering re-implantation.

Deep vein thrombosis - This can happen following any operation. It is unlikely, but the risks are increased with smoking and use of the oral contraceptive or hormone replacement therapy. An anti-clotting injection can reduce this risk.

Nipple complications - Sensation of the nipples may be altered temporarily or permanently following an augmentation mammoplasty. There is also a very small risk of nipple loss.

Breastfeeding - It should be possible to breastfeed. However, the breasts will significantly increase in size and change shape. Once you stop breastfeeding, this may permanently alter the effect of the breast enhancement.

Scarring - Initially, the scars will be fine, bright red lines; in most cases the scars will usually heal satisfactorily and soften, becoming much paler and less obvious after the first year. Some patients have a tendency to form red and lumpy scars (hypertrophy) or keloid scars, which are broad raised scars. The scarring will be permanent.

Capsule formation - Whenever a foreign body is introduced into the body, a layer of scar tissue forms around the breast implants completely encasing it. In some circumstances, this capsule can harden over a period of time, which may vary from several years to over 20 years later or may never happen.

Rupture - All implants have the potential to rupture, the rate of rupture for allergan implants is five percent at seven years. If your implant has ruptured it will need to be removed and/or replaced.

Rotation - With anatomical implants, there is a risk that they can rotate. The use of a firm fitting sports bra, day and night for six weeks post-operatively will help to reduce this.

Rippling and palpability - Depending on how your breasts change with age, they may thin to a point where you can see or feel the implants beneath your breast tissue.

Revision - The implants are unlikely to last for the rest of your life and depending on your age, you may need one or more revisional operations in the future. This may be due to capsule formation as noted above or implant rupture. If you notice any hard lumps within the breast tissue or a rapid change in the shape of the breast, then you should consult your surgeon. There are potential financial implications to this.

Mammography Issues

There is no evidence that silicone implants delay the diagnosis of breast cancer. If there are subsequent mammograms following breast enhancement, the x-ray department would need to know this. A Mammogram itself will not damage the implants.

Silicone Issues

The safety of silicone implants has attracted much publicity. The Department of Health asked an Independent Review Group to look at the evidence. The Research found no evidence of any connection between silicone implants and illnesses. The Independent Review Group report and evidence can be reviewed at the Silicone Review Website.

Choosing Breast Augmentation to Increase Your Size

Breast augmentation may be something to consider if you have smaller than average breasts. Some people would say that having small breasts is not a terrible fate. There are positives to having a smaller than average bust. Exercise is easier for one, and people with smaller breasts tend to have an overall smaller appearance. If the issue is making you feel insecure, and you truly feel like you need a change, then this surgical procedure is an option for you.

Breast augmentation is a surgery, so it is important that you give correct medical information to the plastic surgeon if you end up getting one. There are risks with this surgery as there are with any other type. With an implant surgery, there is the risk that you might be able to feel the edge of the implant, or have neuropathy in the nipple. Contracture is also a possible issue with some breast augmentation procedures.

Contracture is a tightening of the capsule that forms around the implant. Blood clots can also be a risk, as well as bleeding and infection. Some women might worry about their implants bursting. This is highly unlikely, but if it were to happen soon after your surgery or even within a few years, then most likely you would get a free replacement.

Another consideration if you choose to have this surgery is the cost. You will want to contact a few different plastic surgeons to find out the various price estimates. You should consult with various ones anyway in order to make sure you are getting someone that will work well with you.

There are attributes you would do well to look for as you consider various plastic surgeons. Make sure that he or she has a great deal of experience in doing breast augmentation procedures. Check out their educational background as well. The more educated they are in the area of plastic surgeries, the better. It is also best if they are board certified in plastic surgery. You should also make sure that he or she is caring, empathetic, and a good listener.

Your mental/emotional state is very important if you are looking at having a breast augmentation. The plastic surgeon that you choose will probably talk to you about your expectations for the surgery. It is important to be honest about why you want the surgery done and what you expect to change because of it.

Some women might think that they will suddenly be flooded with dates after the procedure, but that is not likely the case. You may attract some men momentarily with the change, but there is so much more to it than that. Men really do look at personality and attitude as well. Perhaps your small breasts have made you feel insecure, so now, you might be yourself. That is what is going to bring you a man who really cares for and loves you.

Liposuction for Love Handles - Smoothing Your Physique

Some people have it made. After following a strict exercise and diet routine for a few months, they can easily smooth out their physiques and be ready for the beach with nary a problem. Others are not so lucky. Even with all of the exercise and dieting in the world, they still deal with pockets of fat that refuse to go away. Instead of making use of the fat stores held in pockets at the sides of their bellies, they continue to lose fat from places where they would prefer to keep it-- their breasts, in many cases. Some get well below their ideal weight and still have love handles. This is where liposuction can help.

The Procedure
Liposuction is a form of plastic surgery designed to target specific areas of fatty tissue on the body, just beneath the top layers of the skin. Doctors recommend this procedure for those pockets of fatty tissue that remain even after the patient has attempted to get rid of them using traditional methods. It is important to understand that it is not designed as a tool for weight loss and is generally not particularly effective for those who are beyond moderately or slightly overweight. It can, however, work wonders for those near or within their ideal body weight range who still deal with stubborn areas such as love handles.

Love Handles
There are a few reasons why doctors recommend liposuction for love handles, even in times when they may not recommend it for other parts of the body. For one thing, this is an area of the body that is not particularly prone to cellulite. This is in stark contrast to the thighs and buttocks and even the stomach in many cases. Cellulite is the enemy of this procedure in some ways, because it can affect how effectively the fat cells can be removed from the body. The end results can tend to look lumpy and unattractive, showcasing the cellulite rather than getting rid of it.

Factors
Of course, not every patient can expect to have the same results from liposuction, even from the same well-trained doctor. Many of the factors that contribute to the success of the procedure come from the patient. Older patients have skin that is not as elastic as it was when they were younger. This can leave the skin drooping and loose after the fat underneath has been removed. Those who have a large amount of fat around the midsection cannot expect the same results as someone who has only a little. As stated, the procedure is not designed as a weight loss tool. Various other genetic factors can determine how well your results last as well.

Preparing for Rhinoplasty Takes Months

If you are thinking about getting rhinoplasty to change the look of your nose, you should make sure you research it well before you want the surgery. In fact, you should consider your options at least three months before you want to see the results, though half a year of preparation is even better.

You need to be able to take your time finding a doctor for the surgery. You should feel you can trust the practitioner you choose, and you should also be able to get some price quotes to make sure rhinoplasty is within your budget. You need to meet with a few doctors at an initial consultation, and this can take some time to schedule. You might need a few weeks just to meet with doctors, and after that, you need to prepare for the operation, so make sure you leave enough time to do all this.

Preparation can take months, depending on your health. Since you need to be healthy to have general anesthesia, your doctor might request that you get a checkup from your general physician so you can bring in a letter that says you have good health. This means you need to leave some time to schedule a checkup with your regular doctor, and then get the documentation to your surgeon. In addition, if you smoke or are on any medication, your surgeon will likely require you to quit the habit up to two months before rhinoplasty. Clearly, this is not a surgery you can get at the last minute.

If you want to have a new nose for a special event, try to get the operation done at least six months before. This is because if you go to the event only weeks after surgery, your face could still look bruised and swollen, and your nose might not look the way you want it to. It often takes time to see the final result, and it also takes several weeks for your body to heal completely. Therefore, you should plan well in advance of any major events that require you to look your best.

Plus, most doctors do not advise you to get impulse plastic surgery since you should think carefully about it. You cannot take a day to do so. You clearly need several weeks or even much longer, depending on your situation and what your surgeon requires. This is why you should start doing your research months ahead of time.

When you're considering getting rhinoplasty atlanta ga, make sure you take time to find the right doctor. Visit http://www.locateadoc.com/ to learn more.

Plastic Surgeons Want Questions From You

Plastic surgeons are professionals who, though it may not seem like they have a lot of time, want to make their patient's happy. In order to do that, they know the importance of getting information from the patient and really getting an idea of what his or her needs are. Most doctors are happy to sit down with you and answer every one of your questions. Some of them expect you to ask them, whereas others are more interested in guiding you through the process one step at a time and asking you about questions during the process. What are you asking?

Did You Ask About the Outcome?

One of the biggest things to discuss with plastic surgeons is the outcome of the procedure. There is no way that any doctor can promise you to fix the problem without any risks or worries the first time. There are situations where the outcome will not be perfect. Though doctors take every step they can to make sure this is not the case, you should talk to your doctor about realistic outcomes first and foremost. You do not want to go into this procedure without that information.

Did You Ask About Your Options?

Many people do not realize they do have options in many procedures. For example, you have options in size, shape, textures and positioning of breast implants, if that is the type of procedure you are having. Your doctor may have more than one type of surgery he or she can perform. You may want to know what he or she is doing and why. Discuss all of your options at length with the doctor so that you can make a decision that fits with your needs.

Did You Talk About Recovery?

Though you may be worried about the actual procedure, you should also discuss the recovery process with your doctor. This is the process of overcoming the condition, healing and getting back to your life. How long will it take? What amount of pain and discomfort will you be in during this process? You should know exactly what to expect going forward so that you can make the right decisions for yourself based on this information.

Doctors are happy to answer your questions. In fact, plastic surgeons may even want you to ask more about the procedure than other patients ask. They are often happy to tell you exactly what they will do, how they will do it and why. All you have to do to find out what the surgeon's plans are is to ask. Talk about your options and uncover what you did not know about this process.

The Dangers of Liposuction Compared to CoolSculpting

on Tuesday, December 18, 2012

It makes sense to want to be healthy. Eating right by avoiding fatty, sugary foods and consuming more nutritious meals is a concept that will live on forever, even if it doesn't help us to live forever. The added benefit to eating a healthful diet, of course, is the loss of weight. But this doesn't necessarily mean the loss of fat.

You don't have to be all that overweight to have a body that is home to love handles, bra bulges and muffin tops. Many people complain that it's nearly impossible to rid themselves of these nuisances even though they are eating right and exercising as much as they can. So, in many cases, people have turned to invasive surgeries like liposuction to rid themselves of excess fat.

Liposuction, however, is not all that safe. In fact, there is reason to believe that it causes more damage than good. On BeautySurge.com, it is explained that there are numerous potential side effects associated with liposuction. Not the least of which, happens to be death. The site notes that "various reports in the medical literature place the risk of death due to liposuction around 3 deaths for every 100,000 liposuction operations."

Now, that's scary. But, of course, the intent of this article is not meant to scare you but rather to inform you of the risks you take when allowing a doctor to cut open your body. It sounds a bit gory, I know. However, the truth about liposuction is that it is major surgery that hasn't had the world's greatest success rate when it comes to overall safety. BeautySurge.com does explain further about the side effects associated with the surgery.

Excess skin. Once a large amount of fat is removed, it may result in loose skin depending on its elasticity. If this is the case, an additional procedure may be required to lift and tighten the skin in areas where it is loose. CoolSculpting, on the other hand, allows for the body to naturally dispose of fat cells over time. Loose skin is never a problem after the procedure.

Contour irregularities. Unlike with CoolSculpting, a procedure that contours the body through the freezing and consequent disposal of unwanted fat cells, liposuction may leave lumps and bumps, asymmetry and irregular contours. The website explains that 20 per cent or more of liposuction patients require revisions to improve the contour of their bodies after their original surgeries.

Scarring. As BeautySurge.com points out, scars are permanent. Liposuction usually requires at least two incisions that are between 4 and 10 millimeters long. This requires patients to put effort into minimizing the appearances of scars after surgery by keeping them out of the sun, massaging them when no longer painful and using scar reduction creams.

There are, of course, many other side effects to liposuction. They include swelling, possible infections, burns, organ damage, fluid imbalances and pulmonary embolism. But, as mentioned earlier, scaring you is not the main objective of this blog. It's all about education. And this is why it is encouraged that you learn as much as you can about the procedures that may help you.

The Facelift: What It Is and Why You May Need One

For many years, people have turned to cosmetic surgery as a means for enhancing their personal beauty. The reasons differ from individual to individual, as do the various procedures that are available to them. The facelift, also known as the rhytidectomy in the medical profession, remains one of the most popular procedures to this day. Thousands of people every year get facelifts in order to remove wrinkles on their faces, which is the primary goal of the operation.

The process entails removing excess skin that can cause wrinkles and a "loose" appearance. The aim is to tighten and firm the region, which will ultimately make the face much more youthful. It is important to remember that while facelifts are virtually harmless and are widely implemented, they are invasive procedures that are not recommended for everyone. If you are considering getting a facelift, here are some helpful suggestions to consider.

Should you get a facelift?

AgeCondition of skin/trouble zoneCost analysis

The most important thing to remember about facelifts is that they are meant to fix facial wrinkles, which are often times linked to age. Thus, they typically are received by middle-aged patients. The procedure is not recommended for a younger person simply because it will not be very effective, as it is generally is not needed. There is a strong difference between someone who wants to beautify their skin (which can be attained by skin creams and lotions) vs. someone that struggles with severe wrinkling and thus skin loosening issues. Never assume a facelift is what you will need, as this should be considered a final resort option when other methods have been tried. Your physician will make the determination as to your status as a candidate, and will recommend it if they deem it necessary.

In addition to getting a facelift when the time is right, it is also worth mentioning that this procedure is not a miracle cure for all facial conditions. For example, it will not treat nasolabial folds or marionette lines, which many people suffer from. If you are one of these people, you may be better off choosing a different procedure, such as Botox injections. Knowing what you want/need to have done will make the decision to get a facelift much easier, because it may very well be the case that the operation won't fix your skin problem.

The last point to stress ties into the last; facelifts range in cost, but the typical range is $7000-15000 here in the United States. This is a significant amount of money, and it thus very important that you perform your research before making the decision to get one. If you have the need and the means to do so, then a facelift can certainly make your skin look much younger and healthier. On the other hand, if you can fix the issue with cheaper alternatives, you will end up saving yourself a lot of time and money.

Breast Augmentation Can Help With Asymmetrical Breasts

Women seek breast augmentation for various reasons. Asymmetry is one of them. When you set things out on top of a dresser for decorations or you paint a picture, asymmetry is attractive. When it comes to the human body though, that is something that makes one person appear attractive in some cases. If your breasts are not the same on both sides, it might really bother you. Breast augmentation might be a positive choice for you.

You might be embarrassed to even consider getting a breast augmentation. Perhaps you think it is only for those who are vain. But, that could not be further from the truth. Of course some cases are strictly vanity, but there are others who are cancer survivors, who had to have breasts removed in surgery and now are looking for a way to feel normal again. If you have an asymmetry issue, then you have a perfectly good reason to look into breast augmentation.

Surgery is surgery, and there will be a recovery time. You will need to decide on the material for your implant. You will likely have the choice of saline or silicone. Your doctor may have a preference, so be sure and talk to him or her about it. Make sure to be honest about any health issues as you speak to the surgeon that you choose. Some things can make your surgery more risky, so your doctor needs to know your background.

Just because you have uneven breasts does not mean you have to get a breast augmentation. Some people just deal with it, and do not let it bother them. Everyone is different. If it does bother you, and it is keeping you from feeling the way that you want to feel, then you need to speak with your doctor. He or she may be able to help you find a plastic surgeon that fits your needs. Whether or not your insurance will cover the surgery is determined by the reason for it. So, keep this in mind.

Getting some counsel before making a decision might also be helpful. Whether you speak with a friend, your spouse, or a counselor, make sure that your expectations for a procedure do not exceed what can be realistically achieved. Once you make a decision to get a procedure, you will want to begin searching for a respected plastic surgeon that does these surgeries. You will also want to consider the cost. Make sure that you are not going to put yourself in debt by having this done.

This surgery is not something to take lightly. You will be changing your appearance when you do this. If you are doing the surgery because of asymmetry, you might have a good reason. It really does not matter what the reason is though because it is ultimately up to you to decide.

Breast Symmetry Procedures - What to Expect

Almost all women have some degree of asymmetrical breasts, but some women have a significant unevenness in breast shape and size; this can be corrected with a breast augmentation or breast reduction procedure. Breast symmetry procedures are performed to restore or reduce the volume or amount of tissues in the breast so that the breasts appear more balanced and the woman can feel more comfortable with her appearance.

If you have uneven breasts and are considering cosmetic surgery to enhance your silhouette, here's what to expect with breast symmetry procedures:

How are Breast Symmetry Procedures Performed?

Breast symmetry procedures are typically performed under general anesthesia, and the amount will depend on the length of the surgery and the type of techniques the surgeon will be using. If the surgeon is only creating a few small incisions to remove excess fat with liposuction, or to remove small pieces of breast tissue, the procedure may be performed using local anesthesia.

If one or both breasts need to be made larger, the surgeon may use a miniature version of saline or silicone implants; in this type of surgery, the surgeon will need to make an incision near the breast tissue and around the areola to create a small pocket for the implant. The implant will be inserted into the pocket and the surrounding tissues will be repositioned before the skin is sutured back together.

If one or both breasts need to be reduced in size, the surgeon may use a mini-liposuction procedure to extract any excess fatty tissue. The surgeon can then reposition the breast tissues so that the breast appears more even and resembles the size and shape of the other breast. All incisions made can be sutured together and gauze or a tight bandage will be wrapped around the treated area so that it can heal.

Are there Potential Risks or Complications with Breast Symmetry Procedures?

Most patients will experience tenderness, soreness or even mild swelling in the areas of the incisions for at least 48-72 hours after the procedure, and the surgeon will have wrapped the breasts in a tight gauze to encourage rapid healing. As with most breast augmentation and breast reduction procedures, there are some risks and complications to be aware of. Breast symmetry procedures may cause significant discomfort and pain for several weeks after surgery if the body is unable to heal properly.

If the scar tissues from the incisions become infected or inflamed, you may need additional treatment or required to take medications to help improve the healing process and reduce the risk of tissue damage. If the scars do not heal properly at all, you may be left with noticeable scars that are difficult to hide. These and other risks associated with the surgery will be discussed during your initial consultation.

Other Information About Breast Symmetry Procedures

Finding the right plastic surgery doctor for the procedure is important for the success of your surgery, and you'll need to work with a plastic or cosmetic surgeon who already performs breast augmentation or breast reduction procedures on a regular basis. Surgeons who specialize in breast augmentation may use advanced techniques for the surgery so that your results appear natural and leave you with as few scars from incisions as possible.

Plastic Surgery for Anti-Aging

One of the reasons to turn to plastic surgery is because it can be the best go-to solution for managing your aging problems. Instead of buying expensive creams that promise to take away the wrinkles, turn to a doctor instead. Sometimes, those topical treatments and skin care regimens really cannot do enough to give you back your youthful look. However, having a cosmetic surgeon help you is an option. There are many ways that this doctor can help you to seemingly turn back the hands of time, even if it is just slightly.

Managing Your Facial Concerns

One of the ways to do this is to use plastic surgery to handle the issues and concerns you have with your face. The face is the biggest indicator of health and youth. To fix wrinkles, fine lines, creases and sagging skin in it, talk to your doctor about the use of a facelift. This procedure can tighten up many of the problem areas. You may also benefit from an eyelid lift if you have drooping occurring in this area. Not only does this help you to look younger but it can also help you to see better.

The Neck Concerns

The next biggest problem related to aging is the neck. If you have sagging skin here, you definitely feel older than you should. You can fix this problem simply, though, with the right neck lift procedure. Doctors can get rid of sagging jowls, improve the line of the chin and neck and help with the removal or tightening of the double chin area. This can drastically improve your appearance and help you to look younger.

Managing Overall Body Concerns

Your anti-aging treatment does not need to stop there. If you long to get back your body after having children, consider a tummy tuck. There are also body-sculpting options available that can help you to transform your body with just one procedure. You may want to use liposuction to get rid of those problem areas that do not seem to go away with dieting and exercise. Some people also benefit from breast augmentation. You may want to have a breast lift if your breasts seem to be sagging more than they used to and you want to get that back into shape.

What steps will you take to restore your beauty? If you are not sure, talk to your doctor about your options. Plastic surgery can work for you and help you to look years younger than you look right now. It does not have to be invasive or too expensive, either. You will be shocked by how many years the right procedure can seem to take off your looks.

Possible Early Complications of Breast Augmentation

on Monday, December 17, 2012

There are complications and potential risks associated with having a breast augmentation procedure. While there are plenty of patients who come through their operations with flying colors and experience no problems whatsoever, others do run into some issues. For this reason, being made aware of the possible complications that could arise is essential.

There are complications that can make an early appearance following the enhancement operation. Hypertrophic scarring is one of those. These kinds of scars are red, raised, and thick in appearance. Approximately two to five percent of breast augmentation patients develop hypertrophic scarring and require additional surgeries or treatments by way of steroid injections made directly into the scar.

Another potential risk that can occur shortly after breast augmentation is hematoma. This is a pocket of blood that accumulates within the wound. Hematomas occur in one to six percent of implant patients. A person who is going to develop a hematoma will develop it within two to three days following the augmentation operation.

The symptoms that indicate a hematoma include severe pain that does not respond to pain relievers and swelling at the incision site. The treatment for this condition is a tube that is placed in the bosom for the purposes of draining blood from the affected area. In most instances, the treatment will necessitate a visit to the hospital's operating room. If the pooling of blood in the wound is very small, treatment may not be required. The body is sometimes able to clear up the hematoma with its own built-in defenses.

Following breast augmentation, a seroma can develop. What this means is that fluid collects around the implant site, bringing about swelling and pain. A seroma is often described as being blister fluid. Similar to a hematoma, the blister fluid can leak from the blood vessels that were damaged during the operation. From there a collection of blood forms.

Larger seromas brought on by breast augmentation need to be removed because they can lead to infections. Usually the fluid can be taken from the wound carefully with the use of a needle and do not require a second operation. Unfortunately, sometimes this technique of draining the fluid backfires because it can potentially produce a hole in the implant that will cause it to deflate.

While it is a rare complication, wound separation (also known as dehiscence) bears mentioning. Within the first two weeks the procedure is performed, the wound edges separate and cause the wound to be opened up or in some cases, expose the implant. To solve this problem, Steristrips can be used to properly close up the incision. However, the patient may also need to have an additional operation.

Infection is a complication that occurs in an estimated two to four percent of patients who have cosmetic work done to enlarge their breasts. Infections usually occur because of bacteria that on a normal basis is found living on human skin. Most cosmetic doctors will administer a single dose of antibiotics before the operation gets underway to prevent any problems.

Making an Unemotional Decision to Have a Face Lift

Face lift or none, in life you have to have the right perspective. The years go by, and gravity begins to pull on the entire body. The skin becomes less elastic with age and environmental factors, and gravity takes over. Before anyone knows it, you can hardly see because your eyelid skin is almost covering your eyes. Sagging skin can be a real problem, but many people who get plastic surgery are not worried about medical issues from sagging facial skin. They are worried about being old. Age makes them feel like life is almost over. It really is all about perspective.

Before even considering a face lift, it is important to look at yourself in the right way. When you look in the mirror, hopefully you do not focus on the wrinkles in your face and neck. Hopefully you look at yourself, and see you. If you have ever seen pictures of an elderly individual when they were young, you sometimes can only tell it is the same person by looking at their eyes. Perhaps that is why eyes are thought to be the window to the soul. Your eyes do not really age, yes, trials and hardships change the way they look, dementia can make them seem like there is a blank stare, but really the eyes stay the same. Your face is simply a façade covering the real you. It does not matter if it is wrinkled as long as you are still inside. Before looking at having a face lift, you need to know that you will still be you after the procedure. You must not have expectations that are too high, because over time, that face lift will droop, and you will need to have it done again.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to look your best as long as possible. There is no reason to have wrinkles if you have a way and means to stop them, but just remember that your perspective must not be that you need to change. You are still you no matter how your face appears.

This is why plastic surgeons like to make sure that people are emotionally stable before plastic surgery. Sometimes people have their expectations set far too high. If you are in the midst of your mid-life crisis, you might think that you are young again and can conquer the world. In some ways this is a positive thing. It is good to keep active and young. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look it too, just do not let it overtake you. You are still you no matter how many plastic surgeries you have done.

After you have looked in the mirror for a few minutes and have seen who you are, you might realize that you are still there. Your eyes are the same. You might decide that you are actually aging gracefully, but you might decide that even so, you want to look your best, and a face lift is the way to do it. That is not an emotionally driven decision. That is a logical one, and there is nothing wrong with it.

Once you make the choice, find a plastic surgeon that has the same perspective. Find one who reminds you that no matter how many plastic surgeries you have, you are still you.

Plastic Surgery Changes Lives

Every day tons of people deal with being dissatisfied with their reflections in the mirror. While most people have at least one area they are unhappy with, some are more deeply affected by these flaws. When unwanted physical features cause a person high levels of insecurity and low levels of self-esteem, it is clearly time to make a change. Plastic surgery procedures can provide the transformation that one needs to thrive and feel good about one's image. With so many types of corrective methods, there is an operation for every part of the body that needs it. Speaking with the right surgeon could get you on the road to beautification in no time.

Cosmetic work is quickly becoming more popular all over the world. There is nothing wrong with improving the physical appearance by correcting flaws. Breast augmentations are very common. Women with small breasts would like to have a more womanly and curvy figure. Nothing is wrong with this. The opposite sex is often attracted to full, healthily sized breasts. Women who lack these features now have an option to change. Implants can be either silicone or saline. Augmentations are mostly safe. And the results are totally gratifying. Recovery only takes a matter of weeks and patients will leave with the confidence and bodies they have always wanted.

Change comes with life experience. This includes changes with the body. For instance, as people age, the size, shape, and quality of their bodies slowly changes. This is a natural process of the body. But just because a person gets older doesn't mean he or she has to look or feel old. Plastic surgery can work wonders. Wrinkles and deep lines in the skin can be minimized and eliminated using Botox, which is received through injections and can be regularly scheduled to keep the face looking young and fresh.

Flabby skin and excess fat are also issues that many people struggle to tackle. Exercise and diets often fail to blast the fat away and help people to reshape themselves. But plastic surgery can provide that extra help needed for people to look and feel their best. Abdominoplasty, also known as a tummy tuck, can remove some of that excess fat in a quick and more effective way. As a result, patients can have flatter and firmer mid sections. Of course, the first step to abdominoplasty is to be assessed by a surgeon to determine if one is healthy enough to undergo the process.

Speaking of reshaping, there are many who would like to have the nose corrected. Many feel that their noses are too big, too small, or too crooked. Good news is that the hands of a skilled surgeon can change any undesirable flaw. Rhinoplasty is well known for providing results in those needing nasal changes whether for medical or cosmetic purposes. When it comes to plastic surgery, there is no need to fear. Would you rather continue living a life being ashamed of your body? Or would you like to step out of the house glowing in confidence? The choice is yours. You have the power to make a change.

Not only do they have on a great outfit, they have the right body to make that outfit stand out. There is no reason why you can't walk into a room and command the attention of all who see you. With the right surgical enhancements and breast implants, you could end up with the body of your dreams as well.

Finding the right professional for the job is something that might seem a little overwhelming, because it is such an important decision. Not only would you like to receive the enhancements as soon as possible, you also want to make sure that you have a qualified plastic surgeon. This means that you need to set aside a little time to screen any plastic surgeons you are interested in. In addition to screening these professionals, you should also take some time to meet with them. This is the perfect opportunity for you to get second, third, and even fourth opinions about what type and size breast implants will look right on your body.

Take advantage of the consultations. Go home and think about what you learned. Think about how much you want the breast augmentation. Consider the information you received from the plastic surgeons and whether or not you have changed your mind in any way. Once you have reassessed your decision, you need to get on the phone and contact the clinic you have decided upon. Let them know that you would like to move forward with getting breast implants. At that point, you will make another appointment with the surgeon.

During your personal appointment, you will show the doctor your chest. They need to assess your skin tissue, chest size, and muscle tone. This will help them come up with the appropriate plan of action on how to surgically place your breast implants during your operation. They will ask you questions about your health and also inquire as to what size breast implants you would like. To help you come up with an appropriate size, they may have implants for you to test out in the office. They will allow you to feel the difference in textures and also allow you to try on some implants in your bra so you can get a better idea of how you will look after your operation. Once you both come to an agreement about the type and size implants you want, your doctor will then give you a list of preoperative instructions for you to follow. You will make an appointment for your operation and you can go home to start preparing for your special day.

Cohesive gel: its silicone implants can safely?

Last year Dr. Donald Kress, a practicing plastic surgeon in Washington, D.C., breast enlargements at about 160 women with a silicone implant has carried out. Now I know what you're thinking, "not silicone implants in the US were banned years ago because they were too dangerous?" Actually, it is called the implant, the Dr. Kress used an implant cohesive gel or "gummy bear" implant, manufactured by Rio De Janeiro-based Silimed, a new type of implant that is currently the FDA study in America.

Silicone vs. saline: US breast debate

The history of silicone implants in the United States is a full, highly publicized debates about effectiveness and health risk. 1992 The FDA placed a moratorium on silicone implants in the United States, which means that the most popular type of the implant are no more patients, the cosmetic improvement available. The moratorium was in large part due to concerns the health risks on silicone implants, which placed in the case of implant ruptures. Silicone implants were available since then only for re-operations and rebuilding, with only saline implants for cosmetic purposes.

The biggest problems with saline implants are that they complain wrinkles and folds with greater ease than silicone, some women report that they more natural and, according to Dr. Kress, do not feel some manufacturers of saline re-operation rates that are up to 40%. With the implant cohesive gel, what gets their "high strength" implant, Silimed, almost eliminates these problems. This type of implant has used for years in Europe and the use of the corresponding saline is almost non-existent. In fact, Dr. Kress says, "The whole world laughs at us."The Americans and their bags with water ' they say. "But with the stigma, with concept one has associated a silicone implant in this country, undo, it is difficult, even if a more secure and better alternative refers to clinical information tradition."

What is the cohesive gel?

The new implant cohesive gel is safe, says Dr. Kress, because with the networking of the strands silicone gel is so thick that even when cutting, liquid and oil tight leave the implant in its original form. Dr. Kress has in fact an implant, he cut into slices and put on a paper towel in his Office about a year ago. This time there was a drop of oil that has leaked, not once, and he pointed out, were also German studies, which according to the environment to create create leakage even in a living human would be possible.

Aside, this news, however, there are cases when this type of implant may not be the best option. Require slightly larger than a D Cup would look too big for an implant and not natural. In addition, patients cohesive gel is the massive reconstruction after mastectomy are looking, probably offer the best results.

Silimed of the implant was nicknamed "gummy bear" implant, because with the same consistency the obvious reason that is the inner material of shower gel. It is a stable form of implant, which can be treated and compressed without refraction, with human hands and immediately returns to its original shape. And as you can imagine, Dr. Kress says that "the satisfaction is incredibly high."

The surgery, the results, and what lies before us

Yes, okay, here is how of the surgery. Because the implant as other types of wrinkles is not, it must be placed made on the lower breast crease through an incision; an incision, which says Dr. Kress is virtually invisible in all of its 160 cases so far. The implant is a gland between the chest and pectoral muscle, the cut stitched and viola! Surgery on. Of course, it is not quite so easy. Certainly, there is a certain amount of pain, it takes a few weeks, until the breasts look the way how you should and patients are Dr. Kress to work all earlier than with saline or traditional silicone implants would not again.

There are also potential complications. In addition to the possibility of a blood clot, infections and other possible problems that accompany any major surgery under general anesthesia is performed, there is also the possibility, crinkle and capsular Contracture reduced Contracture, which scar tissue around the implant around it, so it's hard to feel, even though both instances are way down compared to others. And don't forget that still always happy with the way not about women, like, you look after. Dr. Kress has another that thought that you were too small and bigger wanted re-operated on a woman, because she thought that her breasts were too big and wanted less, and one that had a node at the top of a chest with scar tissue. Compared to much higher prices of salt not bad but remember re-operation and other complications, which is only for a year and there is still no long-term studies about how the implants perform years and decades down the road.

So what is now available?

This new cohesive gel implant is only for patients, participation in FDA studies, and there are only 23 doctors, including Dr. Kress, who perform with the product Silimed planting as part of these studies. How clinical trials seek progress, the company will eventually by the FDA and if and when this is the case, the implant on a larger scale will be available. But now, commercial seen anyway, we remain with our safety-conscious "Bags of water."

How Breast Augmentation Relates to the Cure

Breast augmentation has some unsung benefits. The operation will not eradicate any disease, of course. The cure for breast cancer could be around the corner in a research lab somewhere. Women everywhere are waiting for that cure. As they wait, many of them are undergoing chemo and mastectomies. Both of these treatments take a lot from and out of a woman. With the chemo treatments, a woman will lose immune system power and her hair. After a mastectomy, she loses defining characteristics of her femininity.

Although a woman may feel disheartened after going through these problems, many of the women who experience them come through strong and ready to face the world and help other women. Breast augmentation that involves reconstructive surgery might be a helpful thing for a woman who has had a mastectomy.

There is so much talk of raising money to find a cure, and that is wonderful. While these women wait for that cure, perhaps this plastic surgery procedure can boost their spirit and help them have even more confidence to face this disease with vigor and help the cause.

Losing one or both breasts can leave any woman feeling insecure about her figure. Breast augmentation after a mastectomy involves reconstructive surgery and breast implants to help the woman look like she never lost anything. The benefits of simply returning to a normal sense of self after such an operation cannot be overstated.

Perhaps you know a woman who has breast cancer and is going to have a mastectomy. Encourage her to look into having this reconstructive plastic surgery in combination with her mastectomy. It may sound overwhelming, but it will be so beneficial to do it in this order.

Maybe you know cancer survivors who cannot afford plastic surgery of this type. Insurance may or may not cover such surgeries. It might depend on what they consider physical and cosmetic. If you know someone who does not have insurance and cannot afford it, you could suggest they set up a website to help raise money for their surgery. Many people would empathize with her plight, and it is possible that she would get the funds for this reconstructive procedure with implants.

If you have the means to help someone who has survived cancer, make every effort to help. All assistance is not monetary. A kind word, listening ear, and even an empathizing nod of the head can make a difference.

Breast Augmentation, Lifts, and Combinations - The Best Results

When a woman decides she isn't happy with how her chest looks, there could be a couple of surgical options available. The first is breast augmentation. Known popularly as simply "implants," this surgery enlarges the chest with artificial gel packs or injections. The second is a lift, which will actually stretch the skin back, adjust the muscle, and give the chest back its perkiness that gravity and age has stolen. Some women find the best results through one or the other or by combining both to achieve maximum coverage.

Breast Augmentation

The most popular form of chest enhancement is putting in implants. This, to put it as succinctly as possible, makes your breasts bigger. Size is a question that many women struggle with even after they've decided that implants are the right path for them. Factors include what you want to achieve, your body type, and the doctor's opinion. Not only can implants give you a larger bust, it can erase any problems of asymmetry that may be a contributing factor to your unhappiness. What implants cannot do is get rid of the sagging effect created by age, pregnancy, and gravity. For that, you'll need to consider surgery #2, the lift.

The Lift

A woman in her early twenties is unlike to have considerable problems with sagging unless her chest is exceptionally large to begin with. Older women, however, will almost surely face these issues regardless of how large or flat chested they are. The lift can help with that. Known surgically as mastoplexy, the procedure moves each breast to a higher position on the chest. There are standard and more advanced forms of the procedure, any of which may be considered by the surgeon when addressing your individual needs. These procedures eliminate the issues of sagging, but they won't contribute any volume to your chest. If you want that, you'll need to consider option #3, a combination.

Combination Surgery

Combining the lift with breast augmentation and vice-versa has become a very popular way to tackle two interrelated issues patients have with their physiques. By doing both, either simultaneously or in stages, you can get the larger chest you wanted while also eliminating the sagging that may come from a variety of influences. Many experts recommend doing the surgeries simultaneously as a way to minimize both risks and scarring. The end result provides you with a much-improved aesthetic that most patients are more than satisfied with.
